As the first rays of spring sunshine warm the field, the buzz of anticipation grows louder at Hamilton Southeastern High School. The Royals’ baseball team is gearing up for a season they hope will be one for the record books. With their first game around the corner, they have set their sights on ambitious goals.
While winning a state title is undoubtedly a goal of theirs, Junior Dylan Cope says,
“As a team, I hope we get hot in the playoffs and win a state championship”
As a part of the Hoosier Crossroads Conference, one of the most competitive conferences in Indiana, the Royals hope to get hot in the playoffs and make it to state. However, to most, it’s more than just about winning. Senior Braeden Totton said,
“I hope to have fun with the guys, that’s my main goal”
Under the guidance of Coach Kory Seitz, who is entering his third year with the team, the Royals have sharpened their skills with rigorous training sessions and practices. As they take to the field this season, their goals are clear, their hearts are full, and their determination is unwavering.
As the Royals enter this exciting chapter, their goals serve as a reminder of what can be achieved with hard work, unity, and a passion for the game.
