Heading into the 2025 Unified Track season, the team had many goals they wished to complete but one was the most important. That goal was to have as much fun as possible this season and to have fun competing. If there was one member on the team that completes this goal every time they step out on the track, it would be Bridget Bell.
Bringing energy and excitement to practice and meets weekly, Bridget Bell shines a light on the team. This infectious energy spreads amongst the team and allows them to let loose and enjoy themselves. Carrying this energy to the meets, Bridget competes in a few of her favorite events including relays and field events with immense pride.
“My favorite events are probably the relay and shot put,” Athlete Bridget Bell said, “because I got big strong muscles.”
Running fast, throwing far, and winning is always a positive, but for Bridget, going out and competing with her friends one last time for her senior season is what it is all about. With graduation near, the opportunity to end the year on a good note with her teammates and best friends is what Bridget loves about the season.
“My favorite part of the season is graduating with my friends at the end,” Bridget explained, “I do not want to lose my friends because their my home.”
Over her career in Unified Track and at Hamilton Southeastern High School, Bridget has built relationships that will last a lifetime. Memories of all the fun she has had at meets with these same people will always be remembered. The chance to get to put on the royals shirt with triumph and excitement is something Bridget says she will never forget.
“There are so many memories to remember,” Bridget Bell answered, “I really love the energy, the support, the spirits, and pride for the nice young women royals.”
As Bridget’s career at HSE comes to close after this season, there is no doubt she will be remembered for her compelling energy that she displays on and off the track. Competing with great pride and joy, along with memories and experiences that will last a lifetime, Bridget truly impacted her teammates with great energy and excitement.
