Senior Night is one of the most unforgettable moments in a high school athlete’s journey. On April 22nd, the HSE Girls’ Lacrosse team celebrated their senior class in a special matchup against the Noblesville Millers.
Before the game began, emotions ran high. Each senior was honored with heartfelt speeches, bouquets of flowers, and the traditional walk down the field with their families. Cheers echoed across the stadium as teammates and fans alike celebrated the dedication, growth, and heart these girls have shown throughout their lacrosse careers.
Reflecting on their tunnel walk, the seniors shared how meaningful it was to be surrounded by the people who have supported them every step of the way. “Walking through the tunnel made everything seem so real. I kept playing so many memories in my head from the past 4 years and seeing the support I had from my teammates and family was amazing.” senior Emma Reichhart said.
Once the whistle blew, the emotions turned into intensity. The Royals dominated the game from the first draw, securing an impressive 16–2 win. Every senior saw the field and made them mark most scored a goal, and on defense, they held strong, only allowing a single goal during regulation. It was a statement win and a fitting tribute to the leadership of this year’s graduating class.
But the night wasn’t just about the scoreboard, it was about the legacy. These seniors have shown what it means to lead with heart, to rise after tough losses, and to build up the team around them. They’ve created a culture of support, grit, and sisterhood that will continue to guide the Royals for years to come.
When asked what advice they’d give to the underclassmen, their responses were full of wisdom: “I would tell the underclassman to give it their all and make sure to have fun!” senior Reese Bradley shared. “Try your hardest but at the end of the day remember that it’s supposed to be fun.” Oliva Bradley added.
To the Class of 2025 seniors: thank you for the memories, the leadership, and the legacy. Your impact is written in every win, every laugh, and every corner of the field. Once a Royal, always a Royal.
