HSE Boys Lacrosse has been cruising through the season so far and are on an upwards spiral. With help from Varsity athletes David Gould, Max Kemp, Luke Williams and more, The Royals continue to dominate the competition.
HSE is currently 8-1 with 5 games left in the regular season. This past weekend the Royals could not seal the deal against Detroit Catholic Church on April 25th, 2025. After their first loss of the season, HSE goes 8-1 on the season, 8-0 in the state of Indiana.
The Hamilton Southeastern Royals are continuing its tradition of excellence in their 2025 season. Under the leadership of head Coach Scott Beasley, The Royals are determined to seek their 5th state championship this year after defeating Carmel high school 10-6 in the Indiana Highschool Lacrosse Association 2A state final in 2024. That year, Henry Wans was honored as the Offensive MVP, and Dylan O’Rourke as the defensive MVP. Both players continue to showcase their skill in the current 2025 season.
Hamilton Southeastern has had some memorable highlights so far this season, one of them being defeating Guerin Catholic 17-6. HSE established an early lead, scoring five goals in both the first and second quarters to secure a commanding 10-0 halftime advantage. Max Kemp led the offense with four goals and six assists, while Nick Weber controlled the tempo with his faceoff prowess.
The Royals also managed to push through Brownsburg winning 27-1 in a late-night dominate victory on April 23rd, 2025.
As HSE nears closer to the post season, The Royals must find a way to keep their mindsets clear and keen in order to defeat some of the higher seeds in the conference. HSE prepares to face #2 seed Carmel this Friday on May the 2nd. Make sure to tune it because it will be a captivating matchup to attend.
