On May 10, the Westfield Shamrocks and Hamilton Southeastern Royals boys’ lacrosse teams battled one another at the HSE field in a Hoosier Crossroads Conference matchup. The Royals utilized offensive prowess and defensive strength, delivering a commanding performance and ended the game with an 18-4 victory over the Shamrocks.
The Royals built off the momentum gained from their previous 19-3 victory the day before against Zionsville, highlighting the Royal’s improvement and dedication to the game. The Royals established control over the Shamrocks early into the game, scoring 9 goals in the first half, showing off with their precise and coordinated plays that kept the Shamrocks on the defensive.
Leading the offensive charge was senior Max Kemp, who scored an impressive 5 goals, setting the tone for the rest of the match early and energizing the HSE team.
