The hair is cut and dyed which is a key indicator that playoffs are here in the Indiana Highschool Lacrosse league After HSE’s narrow 9-8 overtime loss against Culver Varsity team they secured the third seed in the state tournament. Unfortunately, the year is not ending as well as it started the Lacrosse team is adjusting and getting ready for their first playoff matchup against Westfield on May 24th. Heading into their bye week “The guys have been putting in more work before and after practices. That is something we did last year, and I think it made a big difference.” Senior Dillion O’rouke said about how the team is changing things up for the playoffs. Although ending the season losing three of last five the team is holding their heads high going into the tournament “We just went through a rough part of the season where we lost some games but I think the lessons we learned will really help us in the playoffs” Junior Grahm Toner says and after being around some of the team, they are confident in their game in hopes to get the wins when it matters. Senior Max Kemp says “Confidence is something we strive to have at an all time high, and playing with it during big games can play a huge role”
