The Hamilton Southeastern Girls Cross Country has hit the ground running for the first three meets of the season. The royals started strong in their first meet, the HSE Hokum Karem held here at Hamilton Southeastern, where seven of the first ten placers were a part of our Royals XC team. The top five finishers were Zoe Gebhart, Raegan Hissong, Aubrey Berger, Anissa Lammie, and Kate Evans. Their second race occurred at the John Cleland Invitational at Northview Church in Carmel. Zoe Gebhart was the only Royal who placed within the top ten along with Anissa Lammie coming in remarkably close finishing thirteenth. At the Hamilton County Conference (HCC) meet which occurred at White River Elementary School in Noblesville, Zoe Gebhart placed seventh, once again placing the highest for the Royals. At the Wildcat Classic Invitational at Indiana Wesleyan University in Marian, both Anissa Lammie and Zoe Gebhart placed within the top twenty. Their next meet is the HCC Championships on September 27.. As the season progresses, the Royals continue to fight strong towards the finish line with every stride and breath these girls take, showing the pride and spirit of wearing the blue and white during their races.
