With Unified Flag football coming to an end, the Royals reminisce on their inaugural season. Throughout their countless successes, the players have developed friendships and demonstrated determination throughout both practices and games.
“My favorite memory is definitely our first practice of the season,” said Courtney Lawhead. “I am still amazed at everyone who took a chance on me and put their all into it.”
“We’ve really come together as a team,” said Nate Fox. “Despite this being our first season, we have really become a family.”
The reoccurring message of the team being a family is seen through the way they’ve played. The connection and communication show proof of the strong bond between players.
“Unified Flag Football holds so much importance,” said Ellie Cox. “The community I’ve found within the team is something truly matched. I’m already excited for next year!”
