The HSE Boys Tennis team played against Park Tudor at Fishers High School on September 17, 2025. The final score was HSE 3 to Park Tudor 2. HSE went 2 and 1 in singles matches and 1 and 1 in doubles matches to secure the narrow but exciting victory. HSE had a fun new lineup that showcased the vast ability of all the athletes.
In the doubles matches the Stump brothers Parker and Brady used their communication and chemistry to beat their opponents in the 1 doubles match 6-0 and 6-1. On the doubles 2 court Ian Ransom and Max Weinberger started out strong however, in a hard fought match they lost 5-7 and 1-6 to Park Tudor’s Ollie Hulka and Lucas Li.
The singles matches were just as competitive. In the Singles 1 spot Logan Foust fought a hard and engaging battle in which he was defeated 3-6 and 1-6 by Park Tudor’s Sanjay Adig. In the Singles 2 match Evan Holderman showed pure domination throughout the entire match in a 6-2 and 6-4 win against Park Tudor’s Eli Fisch. Lastly in the Singles 3 game Landon Osswald showed determination when he destroyed Park Tudor’s Paddy Flanagan with a score of 6-3 in both sets.
This match highlighted the teams depth and resilience. Even when HSE dropped points, they found ways to bounce back. Between the Stump brothers domination and the singles wins from Landon and Evan it all came together to give HSE the win.
The varsity team were not the only people who dominated the competition and got a big win. The JV team at the same meet showed pure dominance and never let their foot of the gas in a 13-5 win over Park Tudor’s JV team.
This match serves as a big boost of confidence for the team as they head into the HCC championship. This match will take place at Avon on September 18.
