Often times these girls are preforming at places with not the safest floor or surrounding areas and they need to be safe. So, if the floor is too slick or sticky these turners will help them to keep an even level of stability when dancing.

For these big competitions or even football game performances, these dancers must dance there best while looking like there best.
Makeup is beneficial towards making them stand out not only to the audience, but also in pictures that are being taken.
Having their hair slicked back into a bun or ponytail helps them to not get distracted while there dancing. For example, while doing turns its quite easy for the hair to get caught in their eyes and it could potentially end up leading to an injury.
There costumes are particularly important too. They allow them to have access to there full rage of motion, so there not restricted at all. And it is also a way to present the type of story the dancer is trying to tell the audience before even starting their routine.

“For us to drink lots of water to stay hydrated and eat snacks that have good protein to keep our bodies energized!” Larsen Theophilus said.
These dancers are constantly working hard for a lot of hours with minimum rest. So, it is very important for these girls to eat a lot of nutritional foods to keep themselves healthy. Quick snacks containing protein and also drinking water between there small breaks will help a lot with maintaining their energy and positive spirt throughout the practice.
