Tonight isn’t just another game it is the end of the road for the senior’s journey with high school softball. These seniors have sketched their names in history winning a state championship at the highest level in Indiana’s 4A class. The seniors have had to face a multitude of trials throughout their career most of them playing all four years of high school. The have grown closer not only as teammates but all as friends. Senior night is the teams last night to celebrate the seniors.
“It’s going to be a very bittersweet night. It has truly been the biggest honor to wear Royals across my chest and be a part of the HSE Softball family and I’m not ready for this season of life to be over.” Seiferlein said.
As their final season of high school softball comes to an emotional end the seniors will take the field with pride as the celebrate all the accomplishments that they have made throughout their softball careers. This moment is not only highlighting the seniors but also brings excitement to the younger class knowing that someday this will be them
“Going into senior night makes me sad. I’ve been looking forward to this night since I was a little girl. I also think I will be happy because my whole family and a lot of my friends will be there so it will be a huge support system for me” Baur said.
This is the night the seniors have been preparing for their entire lives its truly a culmination of years of hard work and sacrifice. The excitement cannot be matched as they step onto the field one last time before the playoffs. Everything will be left out on the field
